Everything is quiet now that I have returned.

I want to thank you and the boys(organizors) for having me at your Concours.. What an experience !!!. Everyone was so so kind with their Colombian hospitality.

Each year you Concours will become better and better. Your group is preforming a great job which requires much planning and work A true tribute to you and the organizors for your efforts.

The location of the Concours was at the same level as our major concours here in the USA Pebble Beach, Concours of America(Detroit) and Amelia Island, Florida.

It appears all the participants enjoyed being with their friends. and that is really was a concours is…sharing our passion of motor cars with each other.

I felt honored to be a judge with Hugo and Jaime…both of these men are very professional and a joy to work with.

Soon I will be judging once again at the Grand Classic in Michigan with the Classic Car Club of America as a ‘judge in training” I will be with the other judges but my score will not count. It is a learning process.

Then in July I will be helping others set up the grounds for the Concours d Elegancia de America(Detroit) a truly magnificent event. This will be my 6th year of volunteering.

Then in November, I go to Hilton Head South Carolina to do the same. Hilton Head is a secondary concours but they have beautiful cars in attendance.

oh yes….the crowd loved the idea of having the top five finalists for the Best of Show. It created excitement and gave insight to the crowd on what cars the judges considered as Best of Show. I have talked to Hugo and Jaime and we all agree that this should be continued…in addition they should recived a small throphy as “Honorable Mention” as best of show. This is something to consider.

Judging as you know is a very subjective point of view for judges…You could have three different judges and the results could be totally different. But as indicated before perhaps the most coveted is the Peoples Choice. the hell with the judges We the people, think that this is the most beautiful car jajajajajajajjajaj

Please note if anyone would like to attend our concours d elegancia in Detroit on 27 July…our home has two bedrooms Henry Ford Museum is 45 minutes away, Duesenburg Mueseum 1 1/2 hrs and Museo Gilmore (AWESOME) 2 1/2 hours all from my house.
